(Nashville, Tennessee)--October 18, 2007-- FFH, long recognized as one of contemporary Christian music’s most successful pop core/signature bands, releases their first ever worship album Worship In The Waiting, October 30th on the Kindred label imprint, distributed by Word Entertainment.
Long anticipated as a project close to the band’s collective heart, the ultimate timing on this vertically directed project couldn’t be any more perfect for where they find themselves in their depth of ministry journey.
A first single from the album, the title track Worship In the Waiting, is currently breaking at AC Christian radio.
FFH members Jeromy & Jennifer Deibler, Brian Smith, and Michael Boggs strike a cohesive theme of “waiting on God” as the core of an album that’s filled with a message of hope and trust in God’s sovereignty in the midst of the moments when heaven seems silent. Coming together from the vantage point of four distinct sets of life experiences and ministry passions, FFH succeeds in blending not only vocals but heartfelt unity of creativity and purpose in this, their first album project in two years.
As a sidebar, Jeromy and Jennifer have for the past several years been deeply committed to worship as leaders in their own church in Nashville. It is, in fact, a commitment that in 2006 ultimately led them into a six month ministry mission in South Africa in a worship mentoring exchange from which they returned earlier this year. Jeromy, a founding member of FFH along with Brian Smith, termed the ministry outreach “profoundly life changing for Jennifer and our whole family. We understand the concept of worshiping God at a whole new depth and through entirely new spiritual eyes.”
Just prior to leaving for the mission to Africa, Christian music industry executive Robert Beeson, now president of Advocate Entertainment, had initially made the approach to FFH with the idea of recording the worship album. “We met with Robert and a worship album just felt ‘right’ at this moment in time when over the past two years there’s been such a worship and waiting of God emphasis in our lives,” notes Jeromy.
Worship In The Waiting captures a surprisingly fresh wind of God in the crowded field of worship releases. The album was produced by Glen Rosenstein who has production credits with artists such as Michael Bolton, James Taylor, 40 Acres, and Caedmons Call.
In addition to being embraced by a loyal listener base, FFH brings a strong set list of both new and recognizable worship songs sure to bring brand support with radio and retail.
Track list includes:
The new FFH project will have strong support from the Kindred label, distributed by Word Entertainment. In addition to special promotions at retail and radio, FFH will be the subject of a strategic web campaign, as well as direct contact marketing to churches and youth pastors set to include an ambitious promotional outreach through Interl’inc.
One of contemporary Christian Music's most consistently "ministry connective" bands with national audiences since their emergence in the '90's, FFH has collective catalogue album sales surpassing the million mark, seven #1 radio singles, and mutliple Dove Award nominations in their remarkable history as a group with a passion for authentically expressing God through their music.
